Ryobi came out with a mini charger that can turn the Ryobi 40v batteries into a power bank/USB charger. Very convenient. Just increased the value of my Ryobi tools/battery that I use for landscaping. What's also cool is that when the battery is at the end of life for lawns it's actually still good for charging devices. Glad I didn't throw out the battery that won't work for mowing lawns.
It comes in handy for when I'm not near an outlet like at the couch. Also, my neighbor was without power for several days. I gave them this battery/charger to use for their phones and on one charger it lasted the whole time they were without power without needing to recharge it. That's with the 2.4 Ah not the 5Ah shown in the pic too.

HIGHY recommended!

Sounds like a dumb question but how do I convert 5ah to mAh to compare to phone battery sizes/capacity. I thought it was 1000 but I know this huge battery isn't 4000mah like a phone cause it will charge a phone many many times over.

its useful if you need to charge your phone on a jobsite, or during a power outage. other than that though, better to get one of the slim ones.
If it's a power outage, I have my vehicle chargers already. If I was some place without any access to grid power (I.e. Hiking), I'd get a solar powered battery bank.

I'm sure some people would find use for it and I do like Ryobi tools, but this particular one isn't for me.
