big slow down in gallery / OK google not working

hello,

i have my Nexus 5 for a day now.
I noticed two issues.

1. the phone is really fast but when i open the gallery to watch a movie it takes for ever. If i stop watching checking mails and going back into the
gallery it takes long time again. Anyone noticed that as well ?

2. i tried to start google now by just saying "ok google" (phone on and active of course). But nothing happens. Do i have to activate this function
somewhere ? Do i have to be signed in in google+ ?

Does the gallery still have a limit of 1000 photos per album that will view? Is it still impossible to look at older items (beyond 1000) in the AutoUpload album?

You have to have the language set to English US for Ok Google to work.

So it is working with US English only ? no German no other language .. that is bad.

Do you have any lacks when open the gallery ?
