I get my fingerprints on the camera of every other phone I pick up searching for the back buttons without thinking about it. Then I have to apologize...

Its just so counter intuitive now to use side buttons. Its like... like... yesterday I was driving a rental car and went to fill it before returning it... And the tank was on the passenger side not the drivers side like my car. Its like that.

I think I get it, now. I think he's trying to say that whenever he uses someone else's phone that isn't a G3, he ends up touching the camera while searching for back buttons, cause he is so used to using them on his G3. I think he is referring to this muscle memory as a drawback.

I get it. I've had a G3 for a few days and I love the back buttons. I just wish I loved everything else. :/

Yes that's it. I use the back buttons a lot on my LG3.

I know some don't, but they are actually one of my favorite features now.

On occasion I have caught myself tapping the screen of my old Samsung Tab as well trying to wake it. Followed by an "oh", and then hunting for which side the power button is on...

Ah, yes. I do that all the time with my wife's iPhone. Tapping on it like an ***** trying to turn the screen on/off.

Apparently id.iot is censored. Must be an accident.

Having the buttons on the back makes more sense the more you use the phone. The only my time I gripe about it is when it's on the car mount and I have to reach behind it to change the volume.

My wife, who owns a One m7, picks it up like it is alien

Settings, accessibility, & universal touch. This will solve your problem.
