Hello.

Earlier today I did a FXZ on my Bionic to get it ready for a potential Jelly Bean update, should it be found to be okay. This isn't the first time I've done this but this is the first time I'm experiencing the following problem.

Whenever I go to download Titanium Backup from Play Store I get a 495 error message. This even applies to the Pro license for TB. All other apps download just fine. I've scoured the internet trying to find an answer and a solution but haven't been able to find one. I have tried the different things people suggested, ie clear data on 'download manager' and Google Play Store, factory reset, etc., but still having the problem. I even did another FXZ to see if that would correct it but still having the same problem. Oh, and yes, I am rooted.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is wrong and/or how to correct this? I was able to download the apk for TB and do an app restore, but I still can't get it to update on Play Store.

Help! Thank you!

John

Can you tell me what FXZ is?

In a nutshell, it's a way of getting the phone back to original factory settings (or latest manufacturer official OS update) with a program called RSDLite. Careful if you do to follow the directions of those who make that possible otherwise you can severely, and possibly permanently, damage or "brick" your phone.
