Not to burst any bubbles here but I believe this is still quite a ways out for the X. Does look rather interesting though.

I like how he is simplifying the whole UI. Unless he or someone else gets the bootloader unlocked, I won't be trying any of this...the best part of what he is doing is changing how we access apps. The App Drawer can get very crowed and a pain.

He took care of the bootloader. Someone asked him the other day and he didn't deny it. Just said he's waiting for something special. My guess is a nice Verizon rep to leak the full 2.2 sbf. Hope is not lost.

This is looking like he can make some money off of this ROm. Can't wait, might have to jump back on the Birdman wagon in the near future......

This of course will be based off 2.1 or 2.t leaked right? If the official 2.2 sbf is leaked, will we who went to the official 2.2 ota be able to go back to 2.1 ever? Sorry if I am a little slow.

yea, it's going to be a 2.2 rom, there's no point in anyone making a 2.1 rom

He isn't the only one. Another dev has moved on, as of today...gone to the Fascinate. And another I follow is going to the new My Touch. Moto appears to have won.
The few who won't purchase a Moto device again won't make a dent in the overall units sold.
New plan....keep my X until next year when new LTE devices come out (not from Moto).

I can hang with the X with what im running right now . its fast , free of motorola's blur , and i can change how it looks. But one thing is for sure...When its time to upgrade in june of 2011 , i will not be getting another motorola .

I have memory through the roof , and a high of 1570 on benchmark
