Noticed that I had to allow third party apps to download the update for Bitbop
Im afraid to allow the install because it states that I have to allow third party and I will not be secure, it say allow this application to Your messages (receive SMS) Your personal information (read contact data) Network communication (full internet access)I am still having issues getting BitBop to work. It just sits at the sign-in screen. Did you install the BITBOP update to get this to work. I tried with and without, any suggestions. Already did a re-boot....
Yup, it doesn't download, neither does Rock Band. So, screw 'em.

Here is my response from BitBop directly:
Nathan: Hi, my name is Nathan. How may I help you?
AMY SACKETT: Yes I just purchased a HTC Thunderbolt today and the bit bop app is pre-installed. I cannot get it to work. Please help!! Verizon doesn't seem to know anything about the app or how to help
Nathan: I'm sorry, but we are not supporting your phone model at the moment. Just check our website Bitbop | Watch on-demand TV and movies on your phone for the updates of supported handsets. You can click this link directly for the list of phones we support, http://http://www.bitbop.com/handsets.
Nathan: Do you have other phone to use?
AMY SACKETT: That is ABSOLUTELY crazy seeing as this app was pre-installed on the device
AMY SACKETT: NO, I don't. I need to cancel my subscription then
Nathan: I will cancel your service now. Please know that no charge was made on your account.
Nathan: Is there anything else that I can assist you with today?
AMY SACKETT: Do you have plans to support the HTC Thunderbolt 4G phone seeing as your app was pre-installed on it?
Nathan: We are constantly expanding our services to cater the demand of our potential customers. However, we are unable to provide the timelines on when we will provide service to your device. Just check our website for the updates.
Nathan: Would that be all for now?
AMY SACKETT: yea, I guess...
