Bitmoji randomly stops working

Does anyone use Bitmoji with their keyboard?

I'm using Gboard and lately bitmoji randomly stops working.
It worked fine yesterday and now this is what is saying (see screenshot)

It doesn't let you set it back up but you have to go through the app find the one you want to use and then share it.

Then just as randomly one day it will start back working.

Had anyone figured out why it does this?

Personally I use SwiftKey and I noticed that the last time I tried to use the Samsung AR Emojs, I got the message that the feature was only available with the Samsung Keyboard

So I too am noticing problems.
