Yeah, just read a article on AndroidCentral about it. Looks like its going to be a full rollout AI not just for smartphones but also any appliance in your house thats connected to the internet. Some pretty cool stuff. Apprently they have "Thousands" of engineers working on it. Personally, i still think Siri and Google Assistant will be better but would be nice to be proven wrong.

Does anyone here use the assistants that comes with your device?

I'm curious to see how it works. S-voice is completely terrible. And I really wish these would have custom wake-up phrases because Android thinks you're saying "ok Google" every other line.. so annoying that i disabled the app..

The only problem is that it will clash with Google's own Assistant, what with recent developments is pushing it heavily. As long as it is baked into Android, and consequently into the S8, using Bixby will at least be counter intuitive to use.

That's the big problem I expect as well. Too make robotic cooks in the kitchen so to speak.
