Bixby button not working

I've noticed today after a reboot of the phone that the bixby button now does nothing. It definitely worked yesterday before and after updating and again this morning after I hit it when changing cases.

Double Press, single press, long and short do not work.

This is in the UK on a s8+ direct from Samsung and updated to the latest firmware.

I know it's a bug, but it's a bug I wouldn't mind having. No more incidentally​ launching Bixby.

I have the Verizon version of the S8 Plus, and double press opens up Bixby for me, another double press closes it.

It may not be a bug, the double press to open and close might have been implemented to prevent accidental launches.

That is weird, not sure I like the double press. Also would like the ability to curate the news cards from different/more sources.

I do like the Bixby camera abilities

From the home screen press and hold like when you want to get to the widgets. Swipe left to right till you get the Bixby screen. In the top right turn off the switch.
Now the button will wotk. Just double press the Bixby button
