Bixby can't spell.

I'm trying to be a good Samsung note 8 user, by using Bixby quick commands. I made a command when I say my girlfriends name it calls her. My problem is I have it spelled Shari in my contacts, but when I say her name, Bixby spells it sherry, and says no contact found. How do I teach Bixby to look for Shari?

Might have to call her by last name only and enter it like that in your contacts if you want Bixby to do it right now.

Are you american ?
Bixby seem to still be geared for american pronunciation, I'm living in ireland and if I want to call my friend Noel I have to pronounce it No-el for it to work.
I do believe more languages/countries will be added down the line

If bixby doesn't understand when you say "shari" here's what you can do:

1) call bixby then tap on full screeen
2) manually type "call shari" and tap enter, it will look into your contacts and call, hang up.
3) Open bixby home - > my bixby - > quick commands - > add
4) say either "call gf", "call sherry" or whatever bixby understands easily each time now on command tap on select from history and choose "call sheri" and you're good to go
