Bkuetooth crackling in car

Short version: poor bluetooth sound quality and wondering if this is common, will keep the phne either way.

New car, did not have any issues with my s7 Edge, issue started after getting my s8. I thought it was just my music streaming having issues, as each song would play the first second teice with a little crackle stutter in between. Doesnt always do it.

Now I realize it does it on navigation, as well. The voice will say like "In 1000 feet CRACKLE SNAP POP right onto CRACKLEfield road" every time it soeaks.

I ruled out it doing the same thing on jist the phone audio, I will see how well it does on a BT speaker at home, them do all of the normal troubleshooting up to a reset if all else fails.

Such a disappointment after dealing with an unresolvable speakerphone issue on my last device from day 1. Too late to return it and I refuse to warranty a mostly working phone and risk getting something worse.

A Stone Age solution. If you have an audio port and cassette player just use the appropriate device. Cheap and excellent quality audio. Use it on an old truck without Bluetooth.
