Black burn in on oled?

What is this black line near the top screen. Had this phone two weeks and I use a transparent notification bar. Just noticed this today

Google will replace the phone. They didn't want a photo of it nor did they ask me to FDR.

How did you have burn in after two weeks? what's your brightness level? How long is your screen on during the day?

I doubt that it's burn in. Probably just a bad screen.

They are good about warranty replacements. I don't know how far out they go after purchase but the exchanges I'm seeing are for new verses getting a refurbished one.

Yeah I asked and she said they only send out new devices, no refurbished

Yeah I dunno what it was, since it's all but gone now, but it's being shipped back to google tomorrow. It also has the audio static during video recording bug plus excessive blue shift. So I feel it's still fair to return it.

OLED will have temporary image retention... It's not damage and it will fade.

Burn in is a totally different thing that looks the same.

Had the same thing happen to me my man. Was all set to send it back when it disappeared - and has never returned. (Knock wood.)
