Look at the lens carefully with a strong light and a magnifying glass. If there's a black spec on the lens, use a wooden toothpick to remove it, then lens paper or a microfiber cloth to clean the lens.
If not, and it's still under warranty, that's covered (it could be some dead pixels in the CCD - the part of the camera that takes the place of film in a digital camera). If it's not under warranty, you'll have to get an estimate on the labor (the part is cheap) and decide whether you want to spend that much to get it fixed.
