Black/purple smudge on screen spreading. Droid Razr M XT907.

Earlier today I noticed the top left corner of my screen had a purple tint that has been spreading across my phone and turning black around the left edge, the touch still works in the black/purple areas and I haven't dropped it at all today although I do drop it quite often but it does have a cheap $10 rubber case. I took a screenshot and looked at it on my computer and it was fine but I'm not sure what part of the front assembly is broken and if it'd be easy to replace.

Welcome to Android Central! That usually means the LCD is failing. You can check YouTube for any videos on how to replace the LCD yourself--otherwise, take it to a repair shop.

Can Someone Recommend a quality replacement screen / digitizer?
The one I got from amazon sux.

There is a dead spot in the middle of the touch screen.

Or was it an issue with my install??? I thought it was pretty straight forward.
