Black Roms

it seems that every single rom out their is all black and it started to annoy me the other day so i went on a search for some white themes and found 2 or 3! thats it!


Anyone else not a fan of all black on black and recommend a rom i would greatly appreciate it.

MIUI is a great ROM and it's primarily white. Of course, you can theme it however you'd like, but out of the box it's light colored.

That's the beautiful part of flashing custom roms. You don't like the way it looks, Change it. Customize it any way you want.

Sorry i should of put i can't stand the MIUI rom lol

i just dont like how they changed EVERYTHING and put it their own way. im use to doing things on my phone that MIUI makes me change and its just to much of a headache for me.


I have seen pretty much every rom on XDA and they only have about 2 maybe 3 white roms and there just no good. Either its ALL WHITE or something doesn't work like GSP , Tether or something which i need.

i don't even necessarily need just a white rom, just one thats not all black. most roms Keyboards black, SMS/MMS is black. you know what i mean?

I have to agree. All black is annoying. I found like 2 ROMs that looked good but most things were broken. Even flashing a theme might ruin the framework of the custom ROM being used and things might not work right.

Not sure why more themes dont use Metamorph. Then we can pick and choose easier.

Have you tried a 3rd party launcher? Keep the rom you like, install a launcher(GoLauncher or ADW are nice) and set it up how you want it. Just a thought.

im more of a sense guy. im too use to it that im not a fan of Go launcher or ADW etc

You could always just flash a theme over a Sense ROM. That should get rid of the dark appearance problem you are having.

So what you're really looking for is a Sense ROM that is white out of the box without theming? As far as I know, I don't think that exists.

Hey Joey.... take a look at this rom. It's got a few bugs, it's based off of the leaked GB rom for the eVo.

I agree with you onthe black.

I use myns rom 2.2 and changed the keyboard and dialer because I hated the all black.

I believe one of the King's ROMs had theming available and one of those themes may have been white. I'll search when I get home.

King Cocoa has a white theme. Just released a new version on 4/24 on xda.
