Black screen on calls after kit kat

[AC Question]

after the kit kat update my screen goes black after making a phone call. I can not get it to come on for the dial pad, speaker phone or anything until the other party hangs up. any help would be appreciated! Droid razr maxx hd.

Welcome to Android Central! Sound like a problem with the proximity sensor. Make sure you don't have a case or a dirty screen protector that might be blocking it (it's typically located near the earpiece).
