Black vs Silver Huge Price Difference (?)

I am on Verizon and have the black G6. A few weeks ago when I ordered it the black one it was 99.99 and the silver one was 249.99 (upgrade prices). I have checked periodically and that hasn't changed . . Does anyone know or have an idea why that is? Other than my curiosity I guess I'm hoping it doesn't mean the black units are refurbs or that there's a known problem with them. Happy to have the savings, just wondering . . . .

Platinum was new and different so they seem to be selling more than the black which is kind of common and boring. Verizon is probably trying to deplete the black stock.

I have the black even though it's the more boring color.

I prefer the black over the platinum (sometimes).. My wife has the platinum and it looks great, but with the black, and the scree off, it looks like the phone is practically all screen, plus it looks pretty dope with my white case. haha

Yep that's exactly why I like black. Eliminates the look of what little bezels there are.

I bought the black, despite prefering the silver back and sides, because those silver bezels are super reflective. I definitely couldn't stand a day with them; the front glass is reflective enough on its own.

Haha, that's exactly why I went with the black one. The phone looks sharp with the screen off and looks all round sharp in my black Spigen rugged armor case.

Im reviving an old thread lol but i went with Platinum. Main reason being, it is all they had in stock. Said they could order the black one and it would be in in 2 days but i always get a black device so I decided to be a little different this time. I think the platinum looks great but I may have them order the black one and do an exchange.
