Wondering why I waited this long!? I'm very impressed with everything on my new S5! My wife and I both had the BlackBerry Torch 9810 (hesr was white, mine was silver) and we both got S5's (her is still white and mine is black) and we both love these phones!!!

I was thinking that BlackBerry lost two loyal customers (I did love BlackBerry) and we're never going back. I'd defend BB more than most but I feel Android does all that my BB did and MORE, A LOT more!!!

Now...anyone have a really good email spam app? That's the last thing on my list for now that I need to do.

Are you using the Gmail app or stock S5 email app? You should be using the Gmail app, which sorts spam out pretty nicely and allows you to sort emails by filters with ease.

Glad to see you are enjoying the S5. Is there anything in particular you like with the S5 that stands out? Be it an Android feature or something the S5 offers?

I sure hope a brand new S5 is better than a phone built in 2011 (Torch).

I'm using the native S5 email app because I added my work email. So the native email let's me get both gmail and work emails and then it has an option to combine both in one inbox which I love and my BlackBerry did! So that's why I need an app to filter out spam since I'm getting them all from work. You're right about Gmail...it filters all that already.

What I like the most about the S5 is the Mult-Window!!! I can look at my calendar while I'm looking at my files and one in particular I use a lot I need to see the dates and work with both of them!!! I also love the fingerprint reader as I've had this on my laptop for years and use it all the time and it's just so much easier than typing in long passwords that require both letters and numbers and now some require special characters. It's just easy!

The camera and HD video is insane!!! I don't even think the new iPhone 6 has true HD 920X1080 or whatever it is but this screen LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

What I also LOVE and is really why I left BlackBerry is the app support. Any Android or iOS device will give me any app. Bank of America even stopped supporting my Torch but I was concerned that basic apps like that will eventually stop for even the newer BB devices.

Some other things I used a lot, which I give BB credit for was date/time stamping. I simply pressed the letters LD and space and it inserted the date and LT inserts the time. Android doesn't do this natively, although I'm sure it would be simple to program, but I found an app that does it called "Time Clipboard" and it simply copies the current date/time format and then you just paste it! Works like a charm! Another feature I used a lot was when I'm on a call I would be on speakerphone and had to enter phone's numbers or other info of whom I'm talking to. BB let's you open a notepad that is tied to the call and then you can view these with one click, very simple to use and it's on the call screen. The S5 does this too! On a call, just press the menu key (3 dots in upper right corner), then select Memo and type away! It stores this in your regular memo pad and stamps the memo with the phone # and date! Viola!!!! I wonder how many know about this.

By the way...the keyboard on Android is better imo than my iPad for the simple fact that Andoid's #'s on the keyboard are static (doesn't move) so no typing symbol then # then symbol then letter. Ever try to capture a ticket # doing this? I had to have the rep repeat it all the time. Not with Android's static number keys. Plus the predictive text for Android seems so much more intuitive. I'm always selecting the suggestions to finish entire sentences! Very productive!

So a lot of the stuff is on Android in general so I know...welcome to 2014, right? lol!
