I used my fiancee's blackberry charger, the type with inter changeable tips for different countries, and went to bed at 30% charged. Woke up by some miracle since my phone is my alarm, and the phone was off. Only a battery pull made it work again, and it was at 68% charged.

What are the odds that the charger was to blame and not a new app from the market. This is the first time this has happened.

BTW I am running EB01 unbloated deodexed.

The BB charger for my Tour is very low amperage, and I've had other phones actually show a warning message when I plugged them into it. In my experience, the BB chargers aren't good for other phones.

sounds more like the sleep bug to me (phone is still on but screen is blank and totally unresponsive). has happened to me on a few mornings with the stock charger...the alarm still goes off, but there's no way to snooze/dismiss it since the screen isn't accepting input. you can imagine how thrilled i was the first time it happened when i had no way of turning off a blaring alarm at 6am other than fumbling to rip off the battery cover.

if you hold down both volume keys + the power button, it should reset. haven't heard of a concrete fix yet.

I've been using my bb tour charger to charge my phone all the time and have had no problems. charges just as fast as the stock charger for me

My bb storm charger made my fascinate HOT to touch. I didn't want to fry my phone so I just bought another one from amazon.

I'm constantly using my.old bb storm storm on my phone and I've had no problem. Been using of since I switched in October
