I have bought the Blackview BL900 recently and i am having a hard time with the phone's android, it crashes all the time and a force shutdown is necessary to get it working back, i've seen people modify their phones with other "android OS" and i would like to know if it is possible to install some other in this phone so i can keep using it for a little longer until i get a new device

Welcome to Android Central! That would require rooting and flashing a custom ROM designed for that specific phone, which might be challenging considering it's not very common. The forums at XDA-Developers.com would be a better resource. Good luck!

Welcome to Android Central forums.

This device is only a year old, they usually last at least a few, even the budget ones. It sounds like you're looking for a root solution for your phone but maybe that isn't the best idea. Root if you don't understand what you're doing can cause serious damage to the phone, up to and including bricking the phone. Root mistakes can render a phone useless forever.

Here is a Reddit thread talking about rooting your device.

Here is a thread talking about rooting your device at about the best Android Community online for root, ROMs and modifying Android.

Here at AC we would rather help you figure out why you're having these issues and try to get you back to running normally. To that point I have a few questions that may help us troubleshoot those issues.

Are you doing something specific when the phone crashes, playing a game, watching videos, surfing the web? Does it matter what you are doing when the phone crashes?

Are you able to make the phone crash? Is there something you can do that you know will result in this behavior?

When you say crash, what happens exactly? The screen freezes and you have to restart the phone, the phone restarts its self, that app you're in closes, what do you mean crash?

Have you tried using the phone in Safe Mode to see if it still crashes?

Using the phone in Safe Mode is one of the better tools to see if the issue is related to the phone or an app. Usually if the bad behavior stops in SM there is a bad app behind the issue. If the issue continues even in SM the issue could be an OS, UI or device issue.
