Hi everyone, new to the forum.
I recently broke my droid x's screen. I had purchased a used replacement X off of ebay for cheap. It was one of the first batch produced and has that faulty lcd issue where the half the screen blanks out. To ad insult to injury i had dropped this phone shattering the screen completely. So I decided to see if replacing the screen was possible and found a few sites who had replacement parts. I ordered a new LCD and touch digitizer.
Opening the unit and replacing the parts went smoothly. Upon finishing the install buttoned up the device installed the battery and booted up. Phone booted up normally except the screen was completely blank the entire time. Phone works, I can receive txt's, calls, email. Just can't view anything. Tried rebooting many times. Tore the phone apart and reinstalled old LCD to see if new LCD was problem, and still blank screen.
Any help is appreciated
