Hey everyone,

Had this happen to me today. I normally put my phone in my front shirt pocket without issue. Well, this morning I was in a hurry and I thought IU put it in safely but I didn't and the phone hit the floor. I have the cheap rubber case and the screen DID NOT CRACK. But, when I picked it up, it was messed up. The screen works perfectly but the screen is displaying all the icons "bleeding" (lines vertically) I took a screen shot, but that displays perfect,...so I know it isn't the OS. I tried pulling the battery, SD card and SIM card......restored my ROM from a backup i had just did before the incident.

The buttons on the bottom (i.e. Phone, Apps etc) are perfect clear and fine.

I guess my question is....could it be just a loose connection of some sort?. I don't want to drop $100 to get a replacement phone seeing that I am getting an upgrade in December.

Thanks in advanced!

If you are adventurous, it is easily a loose connector. You can probably even buy a replacement screen for a reasonable cost. If you have the tools and such.

That is what I am thinking a loose connections or connector. The screen is 100% intact and not cracked at all. I might buy a tool kit and attempt to open it up and check it out. I also might take it to a cellphone repairer and get their advice.

Like I said, it is working 100% perfectly (no lag, sensitivity of the screen isn't effective), it just looks ugly.
