LG g2x, HTC Sensation, GS2, HTC ONE X, GS3, HTC DNA, Nexus 4, HTC ONE,to LG G2.
That is my history of Android Devices. I have rooted EVERY SINGLE one of them, often the first week I've had them, and flashed custom roms.

This phone has me not wanting to flash ANYTHING, and really only considering root to freeze some bloat, and run some apps, but not really in a hurry too. I am truly satisfied. Thank you LG

Agreed. Too many are hung up on the rear buttons or software to the point of being blind to the reason why so many love this device. Finally we have the quadfecta of performance, screen, battery life and camera. Let them yap over friggin buttons and not having a recent apps soft key while I zip through my phone with 7 hours of screen time on the best Android display yet and take photos that rival any fixed lens camera. Forgive me if I don't yawn about that. Thanks LG. ;)

I'm easily able to grab my phone in my pocket, with my index finger on the power button. I use knock on about 90% of the time though. I've heard some complaints that it doesn't always work. I do 3 quick taps instead of 2, and it registers 99% of the time that way.

The battery life on this phone will be the standard for me going forward.

since you've had a DNA I see, how was the adjustment of screen size versus the G2?

I agree I'm okay with the stock launcher. Currently working on finding some icon images to download so tweak the home screen.

Got mine today with the window case and so far this thing is amazing. Coming from a nexus 4 which is going to my son. It's a bit of an adjustment from the nexus 4 but man the screen is amazing, it met my storage requirements with 32gb, the rear buttons are kind of cool and different (with the window case I don't need the power button or double tap), So far the camera seems really good and I still get photospheres, the battery life is what I am imagining the Droid Maxx would be like (been using the phone for 5 hours now straight pretty much and still over 50% off the factory charge, and the phone it just fast. It also sounds good with music and headphones.

I'm pretty happy so far. Of course being used to nexus software I wish the multi tasking button were present vs a menu one. My one worry is kitkat coming soon and LGs track record of updates. That's why I love the nexus line.

i can not wait to get mine, was supposed to be here today, but ATT dropped the ball. I will have it monday, and im getting the spiden armor for it

I actually loved that damn DNA. I missed the 5" screen and felt the ONE was smallish. So coming back to this size was a reason I was excited. I do feel this screen is brighter and better than my DNA though.

I am there with you. I LOVE this phone.
If they find a way to increase the knock on success rate even better.
Now, if Kit Kat is released and months go by with no update for the G2, I might start getting the itch to flash a custom ROM. But in reality the only thing I miss from a custom ROM is built in tethering. I am hoping the Fox Fi or another app, adds support for the G2 and then I'd be content.

Easy fix that I usually do: knock 3 times. It will register 2 out of 3 about 99.9% of the time.

I just am very deliberate with the knock and where. If I take a second to do that it opens every time. Its when I try to just knick casually when I have problems. I don't know if that makes Sense but that seems like best way to explain it

just got this case in the mail...great case, but beware, it adds A LOT of bulk. I may just keep the zagg HD on and go rogue/no case.

Agree 100%. I'm loving this phone. The only minor annoyances are with Verizon junk, not anything LG did wrong. They will be fixed as soon as I get around to rooting.
