Block Texts on P6P w/Textra

Been getting lots of texts lately from non-contacts. Can block the number AFTER I get the text, would like to set Textra up to accept texts only from contacts. Can I do this?


ETA - can switch to Messages if need be.

I'm pretty sure that Messages does block some of those texts, although not all of them. I still get some texts from an email address, that I have to block manually.

All mine a coming from phone numbers. Will activate Messages and see if it helps - thanks.

Are you on Verizon? I know some regular numbers have pop up for me with them and there was some article somewhere I read they were aware ...

It made the news on many stations and it's all over the Verizon forum. But that was a special Smishing scenario for Verizon customers with a spam text to click links that looked like you were going to your bill, or other account pages.
