Blocked call notification

I have a spam number on block and every time they call I get a notification (circle with A) in the left upper notification bar. I don't want any notification of a blocked number. I scrolled down on it and turned off the notification in that menu but I still next time that number calls I still see it. What am I missing here ?

What phone? Which method did you use for blocking?

I agree with methodman , do you use a app to block or through stock phone dialer settings , DND?
