Blocked numbers showing up on text feed with blank message

Am I the only who experiences this? When someone text me from a number on my block list the number shows up in the text thread but it's blank but it shows in my blocked messages.

The text app opens a blank text to be ready for when the text comes in. then the caller ID comes in, the phone sees that the number is blocked and blocks it. The text app should delete the blank text.

Thanks for the info for some reason even after the test was received it did not delete the blank text message.

As I said, should delete. Something is definitely wrong with your text app.
