Been a member for a little over a year now and this is the first time my response to an article was blocked because of a SPAM filter.. really? WTH??!
An IP block at that... wow

I have had 2 comments blocked in the last 2 days, was beginning to think it was something personal . Seems you are blocking anything a bit long, frustrating as that means you are rejecting the slightly longer comments giving advice / feedback that take time and effort to post. Hope you find a reasonable balance that manages to keep the shoe salesmen at bay but lets people interested in Android comment.

Same here... I've been a member since June.
Dont comment on many, but when I feel strongly enough I do.
Tried to comment on one tonight and was flagged as spam for doing so?
I've maybe commented 10 times in 6 months, and I'm a SPAMMER???
Makes me not want to bother commenting on anything....

We've made some more changes to the spam filter, please (gently) let us know how it goes. We're working on bigger changes on the backend as well, but the full overhaul is going to take some time.

Hopefully the changes to the spam filter implementation is still under review. I've been trying to post for the last week and have been flagged repeatedly. Some comments get through, but there's no rhyme or reason to the flags. It's very frustrating.
