Question BLU BOLD N2 doesn't connect to network

I have a BLU BOLD N2, unlocked, and is supposed to work on any GSM network, I'm in Italy at the moment, bought a local SIM card, Iliad network. The phone won't connect but to the EDGE network and I have no idea how to make it work, If the phone is UNLOCKED..why? I just don't get it.

Very good. I'm in Milan. The SIM card works with ANY other phone I've tried here and goes right on 5g. BLU is not answering or not helpful with their customer service. Obviously the phone connects because it's on EDGE. I just don't understand why no one at the local provider and BLU can't figure this out.

Welcome to Android Central! I think the problem is that the phone doesn't support the 4G bands that Iliad uses. Look at the 4G bands supported by the phone here (make sure to tap Expand next to the Network heading): https://www.gsmarena.com/blu_bold_n2-11757.php. Then compare with the bands used by Iliad here (they're preceded by the letter "n"; e.g., n1 is Band 1): https://www.spectrum-tracker.com/Italy/ILIAD. There's no overlap.
