Android Central Question

I recently purchased a Blu M6 unlocked phone that has Android v 8.1 with Google Go. I have 2 issues I need help with.
First, I want to add a clock widget to my home screen. When I press and hold on a blank area of the screen there is no option for widgets.
Second, I want to remove the Google search bar from the home screen, but it is locked in place so I cannot drag it to remove it. I disabled the Google Go app and that removed the icons from the bar but left a blank bar on the screen that can't be moved.
Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Try
1.Open Settings on your phone.
2.Tap "Apps".
3.Scroll to "All" tab.
4.Select Google Search or Google App and tap "Disable".
5.Restart your phone and you'll find the Google Search bar is turned off.

Look for widgets in Play Store. There may be none on the device as GO is a cut down version of Android. The above instruction about removing Search may or may not work as I'm not familiar with what Go is able to do.

Let us know how you get on and perhaps we can offer alternative things to try if the above don't work.
