BLU VIVO XI+ and WiFi internet access

I recently reorganized my home office and renamed my WiFi and created a new password. I then reconnected my phone to the new WiFi and accessed the web with no issues. Every other device in my home was also reconnected to the new WiFi and no device has had any issues with connecting to the internet. However, my VIVO XI+ occasionally informs me with a notification sound and message stating: "WiFi has no internet access." This may happen once a day or ten times a day even if the phone is less than two feet from the router.

Have tried 'forgetting' the network, powering off the phone and router (ASUS RT-N56U), restarting the phone and reconnecting but nothing seems to stop this message from occasionally popping up. Seem to recall this happening when I first got the router months ago but it went away in short order.

Any suggestions on how to correct this issue would be most appreciated!

Thanks for the tips. All steps have been followed and a half hour later I got another "WiFi has no internet access" message. Maddening to say the least!

The only question that I still have is regarding IPv6 as I've not been able to get a clear answer. Do I need to keep "enable router advertisements" enabled?

Where do you see "enable router advertisements"? Is that in the router settings? Which router do you have?

OK. Had read that before but it was all gibberish to me and couldn't really tell if it was needed or not. Figured that since it was under the IPV6 heading and IPV6 was already turned off that it didn't really matter. Well, it appears that I was wrong.

I went back in to the router setting control panel yesterday morning and DISABLED "enable router attachments." It's now been more than 24 hours and I haven't received any more of those annoying "WiFi has no internet access" messages.

Thanks for your help!!!
