When I heard about this Blue Light Filter on the Note 7 I was very skeptical. Changing the hue of the screen has never been anything I felt would look good or could help. On top of that, I am one who prefers a bluer-white, over a yellower-white. Other folks may prefer the opposite, it's all in one's taste.
In any case, after playing with my new Note all day, I flipped on the Blue Light filter around 9:00 pm. At first I hated how it looked, I thought it looked garish or something
But after a minute or two I could already tell how much easier on my eyes it is, and after 15 more minutes or so, I forgot it was on. Just now, I turned it off and was shocked by just how blue-ish the screen looked after a long time in the Blue-light filtered state. It was funny how it immediately hurt my eyes until they adjusted.
Anyway, you might want to give it a shot for a while, even if you are like I was, highly dubious of the benefits. I love the little things sometimes in these flagships.
