Hello Android World,
I have the Motorola motorokr s305 bluetooth headphones paired with my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. I am now unable to connect the two, and (((need to delete or remove the "pair" record on the phone))). It is necessary, keep reading to find out why...
The s305 headset has the ability to pair with two devices on two different channels. I believe the original pairing from the phones point of view is on the secondary channel. However the headset is no longer paired with the computer, and it wants to pair/connect on the first channel.
To remove pairing from phone, I touch/press on and hold the s305 paired entry from Blue tooth settings, but I am not offered any "pairing" options as expected. The s305 is the only paired bluetooth device on my SGS2. I have shutdown and restarted the phone.
In a cumbersome undertaking, I was able to 1st re-pair to the computer, then 2nd pair the phone as originally performed. After recycling the power on the phone again and some fumbling around I was able to listen to music and make phone calls again.
However blue-tooth is inherently pesky and I foresee needing to clear all "pairs" from the headset while on the road. So I am looking for a solution to the original problem, "delete/remove the pair that resides on the phone".
I am going to try adding another blue-tooth headset in case this triggers the options to delete/remove pairing in the phone. I will update this post when that happens.
Happy Thanksgiving
