Hi,

I have a stock i535 running 4.1.2 and I keep getting frequent intermittent drops when streaming audio. I've have other phones that stream without issues, so I am pretty confident the problem is on the S3 side. I've seen lots of posts with people complaining about 4.2.1 but I haven't seen anything about 4.1.2. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and this issue? Its been really annoying.

Thanks,
J

Verizon is not helpful in these matters. A google phone is best chance for a fix. Carriers muck it up.

You haven't provided much information to go on.
What kind of bluetooth device are you streaming to?
Have you tried unpairing/re-pairing the device?
Did this just start happening (for example, since the latest OTA)?
How far from the phone is the bluetooth device?

I regularly stream to a Creative Labs D-100 speaker, a Motorola Roadster 2 in-car speakerphone and my Onkyo receiver, all without issue.

I have the same issue streaming to my Kenwood headunit. I was able to resolve it via audio.conf when I was on Android 4.1, but now on 4.2.1 and I can't fix it. audio.conf file is now deprecated apparrently.
