bluetooth conflicts

[Android Central Question]

I have an issue when listening to media using my bluetooth earphones. The issue arises when I'm using the bluetooth earphones and I enter my car; the phone and the car will automatically connect via bluetooth which causes my media to stop playing. I can resolve this by unpairing with the car and reconnecting the earplugs. This fix is very annoying to perform each day. I have noticed this problem since installing android 9.0

Is there a way to fix this issue for good?

No, if the phone is paired to the car, the car is going to connect. If you prefer using headphones, unpair the car.
