Bluetooth Connect Tone

Has anyone figured out how to disable the tone when bluetooth connects/disconnects? My Pixel 1 never did it and I can't find the setting for the life of me.

Not sure, but I think that tone is being generated by your Bluetooth device (earbuds, speaker, etc.) - not your phone.
