Hey guys I am looking for a little help for when I connect my nexus one to my 2010 prius. Every time I connect my N1 over bluetooth all of my audio apps turn on automatically and start attempting to stream music even though I have not turned on audio streaming in the car. The car connects to the phone in 2 ways, 1 as a phone and the other as a media device. If I kill all the audio apps then open the one I want to stream with it works until I try to skip to the next song then another music app opens. Here is the list of what I have installed and they all open:

Pandora
Last FM
Cubed (aka 3)
Standard Music app

Boy, that's a strange one.
I don't have this issue. I connect to my Lexus's (Toyota) BT all the time. However, it doesn't see it as a media device - just as a phone device.

But, when I do pair my N1 to my Sony stereo BT headphones - none of the media applications start until I start them myself.

Have you tried pairing your N1 to something other than your Prius and seeing if the behavior is the same?

Unfortunatly the only other bluetooth device I have is my headset and that only does calls so I can't try to reproduce the apps turning on. One person told me that if I get the N1 dock it unlocks options where I can choose what music apps open automatically. However I am not willing to buy a dock just to change some settings.

Well, I have the dock and I don't see any such option any where.
I've looked all over in the settings area while the phone was docked and nothing.

Have you shut down the phone completely and rebooted?
