Bluetooth contact list problem on BMW

I just go a 2010 535i GT and the phone and my EVO pairs with the car just fine. After pairing for the first time, I got a dialog box on the phone saying that the BMW wants access to the address book. I checked the box to always give it access and then it imported all the contacts to the car. When I tried to call some of my contacts, I found that they did not get imported. After some experimentation, I found that any contact that has a picture attached to it does not import into the car. If I delete the picture, the next time I get in the car with the phone, it imports right into my contact list. Anybody seen this before and is there any way around it. Most of the contacts I call the most are the ones with pictures assigned to them, so other than deleting all the contact pictures, the contact list that gets imported to the car is pretty much useless. Called BMW, but they have no idea.

You could enter them twice, once as a phone contact without pictures and the other as a google contact with pictures. That way they would sync as normal for the google account and sync with the car using the phone contacts. Then just check the box under people to have the phone display only google contacts so you don't see all the duplicates all the time. It would be a decent solution.
