Bluetooth Contacts/Phonebook conectivity issues

[Android Central Question]

Galaxy s10 pairs to 2016 Honda, stays connected and works perfectly except car will not download phonebook. Contacts on phone are thru gmail and saved on phone. Phone is set to grant contact access and messaging access. Car is set to 'on' for download phone book. Car will update messages, just not contacts. Tried unpairing/re-pairing several times. Any other ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Open Contacts, tap Menu and look for the option to customize the contacts to display. Instead of "All," try selecting individual groups. I recall having to do that with a previous car system.
