When using any of the navigation apps (Sprint Nav/Google Maps) the voice directions come through the ph but when i activate the bluetooth it mutes the phone and does not come through the car speakers, the ph is paired with the car, streaming music, making and receiving calls work fine, am i doing something wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated, the car is a 2010 mazda 3i touring, thanks.

I have a similar question to this. When I had a Palm Pre with Sprint Nav, the directions would come through my Audio System. Now that I have the Evo, I have to keep the car very quiet to hear any directions in either the Sprint Nav or Google Nav apps.

I have a Blueant S4 and I'm not having any problems getting the navigation to stream through it via bluetooth.

I dont think I am having any issues either. The phone even streams audio over BT while watching Sprint TV. (no i am not watching tv and driving at the same time, haha)

well i have the Motorola T505 blue tooth speaker phone with FM modulator and it sends the audio to my radio....I've noticed that when i use Google Nav....the music ( which i stream with Pandora) will mute when giving directions.....when i use Sprint Nav....the first thing i notice..other the LONG signing in ..is that the music from radio is reduced by half....and then when directions are given..it does not mute the music...it simply plays them both at the same time.

@dpg, streaming audio while watching tv, wow thats sick!!... are you using your cars bluetooth system or a bluetooth system you purchased?
