If you plan on rooting you can get the Sixaxis controller app and use a ps3 controller. It even does touch emulation which is awesome. Played nova 3 using my ps3 controller. Worth the money.

Also I just ordered the Icontrolpad. Don't know if it will work with the nexus 7 but it is confirmed to work with the galaxy S2

hey bro i need some help. My ps3 works with dead trigger but i cant get it to work with nova 3. How did you get it to work

Use a dual shock or a sixaxis controller! :D

Gamerwiz here is a post where I briefly describe using a dual shock on Android. If NOVA 3 does NOT have built-in controller support like Dead Trigger, then you need to use the sixaxis app to customize it and make it work.

See this post here:

ALSO NOTE: Within that post is yet another post that will link you to more info from me. Two links, enjoy! :)

Note #2: When you want to create 'right analog stick aiming' (for shooting games or camera control) you want to turn on "Relative touch" for the right analog stick controls (within the sixaxis custom profile that you create). Then it will work like real right analog stick aiming (or camera control).

Trust me, if you plan on doing any FPS or console type gaming on your Nexus 7 you NEED the Sixaxis app.

There are prebuilt config files on XDA: [APP] [PROFILES] Sixaxis Controller Profiles for Nexus 7 - xda-developers
