Bluetooth headset issue?

Every time I try to make a phone call from either the S or the Note 4 when I'm using a BT headset, outgoing calls flat out fail. The phone app opens and never dials. Tried two different headsets (Jawbone+ and 903+)

Am I missing something? Are my headsets too old?

Music works fine from both the S and phone, and both headsets work with the phone alone.

Are you bluetooth connected to the phone at the time? Or on your watch's "phone"?

I've tried every way. The phone and S connected via BT, with the headset connected to the S via BT as well. Is that the conflict?

Not sure works fine in my bluetooth car.

May be a silly question but are you sure the bluetooth setting for the headset shows calls and music? Sometimes that will happen and pairing reset can fix that issue

Also if you make calls from the S the S will be the bluetooth connection and will not play through the headset. It has to be dialed from the device.

Thirdly a partition clear would let hurt in the Recovery Mode.

Lastly turn off remove the sim and place back in just to make sure your sim is working ok.

Good hunting.

Turn off BT on your phone and try again. It might be conflicting and causing the S to be confused.

Media and calls are both checked. I'll try deleting the profiles from the phone to avoid connection conflicts, and report back.
