I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend headset. I love it

Since I got it 3 months ago, I'd just push and hold the main button on it until the bluetooth headset emitted a low tone, then a couple seconds later I'd get the familiar Google Now tone queuing me to start talking. I could say anything like 'What time is it?' to 'call so and so' to 'text so in so that blah blah blah'

TODAY I push the button, and the Google now voice comes on saying "Say 'Call' followed by a name or number" and then the sound queue to start talking. The phone screen displays a Google app called voice dialer. This is driving me mad because I'm not even sure what happened between today and yesterday. It does not appear that the Google app was updated.

Anyone got any ideas?

SOLVED....kind of

Factory reset phone since I was planning on doing it sometime anyway. Problem STILL persisted. Bluetooth button kept bringing up Voice Dialer even on a fresh reset.

Updated "Google Search" to latest version now called "Google App." It made me update Google Play Services as well.

Problem STILL persisted.....Kept trying.... Problem fixed itself.

Now I'm an IT professional and this is the second thread I posted here in the past month where the problem has "fixed itself." A phrase I always scoffed at in the past...

I'm happy but worried these problems will rear their heads again.
