Bluetooth is connected but i cant haer anything in my headphones

I have 2 bluetooths headphones (both new, different brands)
they both works and can connect to my chinese phone
they used to work once but now i cant hear anything.

the volume is on, and in the bluetoth area there is a V on the media input.
ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that when you go to Settings>Bluetooth, and tap the Bluetooth headphone entry, you see that Media Audio is checked on?

Also, make sure that there aren't any other Bluetooth devices nearby that are competing for the connection. If you have the other Bluetooth headphones nearby, turn them off.

Can you test those headphones out on a different device?

well, just an update: i think the problem was on my phone. i updated the android version and its ok now.
