I just spent a couple of frustrating days between Google, Samsung and AirTurn.
First off nice of AirTurn to post on their Support Page a warning to not upgrade. They have a mailing list from our warranties and are quick to notify us sales and new products but not this warning.
After upgrading to 5.0.2 by BT105 foot pedal is now a 100 dollar brick.
I opened a case with Samsung (Google says this is a Samsung problem in that it is up to the manufactures to insure compatibility???) and they (Samsun) did call me back and walked me through a process where I can now Pair and Connect the BT105 but apparently due to missing HID (human Interface Device) the BT105 still fails to work (WOWthey know what the issue is - now what).
They did tell me that this fixed the problem with Logitec Blue Tooth Devices. (Boot in safe mode and pair and connect the device there. Once this is done reboot in normal mode and Viola it should work, well not for the BT105). Safe mode is achieved by turning the 12.2 on while holding the DOWN VOLUME.
I just got word from FlipPage (Makers of Cicada) that their device works with 5.0.2 and Lollipop. Can anyone confirm this?
I reccomend you calling Samsung support and opening a case and reporting it (and following up). The more of us that complain will insure it is a known problem being addressed??
Second please call AirTurn and thank them for not notifying the community as soon as they knew this was a problem. It was disgraceful that they did not repair this. Also apparently their approach to fixing this is waiting for Samsung/Google to take care of the issue. I am sure oncewe tell them it is fixed they would be glad to har that.
I am hopeful a fix will be in place. In the meantime I am grateful I have a back up device (a Note Pro 10.1).
Good Luck
