Bluetooth issues.

I've been having a weird issue where my watch is still connected by Bluetooth but isn't connected to the app and I stop getting notifications. When I try to connect in the app it keeps failing and won't connect. The only way I can fix it is to reset the watch or put it into airplane mode and then switch it off. But it's very annoying because I never know when my watch does it and I don't get my notifications. I didn't have any issues when I was using the Samsung Galaxy S9+ but once I updated to the Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra these issues started up. I've factory reset the watch and reset my Bluetooth connections. And neither of those have worked. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Have you tried checking if the app on the phone (yes, I know it sounds a bit counterintuitive, but it might be the reason) is NOT set to be put to sleep and be allowed in the background the entire time? It might also be an app bug (Spotify is notorious for disconnecting randomly from the watch app or taking a long time to load/re-connect).

Yes I've checked that. Like I said my watch is still connected to the phone. Just not the app. And I don't have spotify on my watch. But thanks for the suggestions.

Do any other apps do it? If not, it might just be an app bug (that is buggy in tandem with the specific phone, perhaps, as it seems you didn't have that issue before).

Sometimes I guess just happen for a reason. I've been dealing with this issue for months finally say something, realize there's an update and now it seems like it's fixed

So glad an update fixed it! I've had Bluetooth bugs before, and they are definitely not fun! Glad it's sorted out! :)
