The bluetooth on your N8's just does not work most of the time. Doing a search for this issue, I found many seem to be having the same issue on the N8. Sometime it sees my BT devices, others it does not. So, are others having the same issue?

Works fine with anything I’ve paired it with. My headphones, wireless speaker and LG Watch all keep a consistent connection.

I have only had an issue with my car bluetooth- which leads me to believe it's my car- and have no issues with my bluetooth.

All good here but I will say my apple devices connect quicker with no issues not like the note which isn’t consistent.

If BT 5 is backwards compatible, and it works fine with older phones, and sometimes works, well, seems like it is the N8. Sometimes it works in the car, but not others. Sometimes it sees my Polar HR strap, but most of the time does not. And if you look at this thread, which is 13 pages long now, clearly, there is an issue for a lot of folks. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Note-Phones/Note-8-Bluetooth/td-p/163424

I've read through that thread, and yes it is 13 pages, but there are only 4 posts per page. Many of the posts are people suggesting fixes. A few dozen people having problems with a phone that sold millions is hardly, "a lot."

I suggest backing up your data and doing a hard reset. It's possible the BT drivers are corrupted. If you are still having issues, then take it to your carrier for a warranty replace/repair, or call Samsung support, if it is the unlocked (non-carrier) version.

Have had no trouble with mine. Car stereo, 2 pairs of headsets, 2 Google Mini's, Pioneer Bluetooth receiver - All working.

I don't recall having BT problems with my Note 8, but, then, I hardly ever use BT with it except in the car. There it connects all the time, it seems.

Slightly off topic, but I've noted many problems with various devices and BT. From my experience, I'm just not a big BT fan given the problems BT seems to have.

I have 4 Bluetooth devices connected to my Note 8 and I don't have any issues with any of them.

No problems whatsoever. Paired to my Gear S3 24 hours a day. Connects to my car within seconds of starting it up. Pairs with 4 speakers around my house.

My N8 hooks up most of the time without any problem. BUT, after maybe 10 seconds or less, it will crackle, disconnect, pause and then reconnect. After that happens (and it happens every time) it stays connected just fine. My first N8 was so slow that I took it back to Best Buy and the Geek Squad tested it on their Wi-Fi and said it was definitely defective (7.4 mbps D and .4 up!). Cost me another $200 for a replacement cuz #Samsung warranty sucks!

I have the PowerBeats 3 and have had no connectivity issues either with media or phone usage.

The BT is completely separate from WiFi. So, I'm not sure how poor download over WiFi has anything to do with BT. Just because you are getting low WiFi download/upload speeds doesn't mean your BT or even WiFi radios are bad.

I have no issues with mine doing that.

I tried two polar h7 hr modules today. I could get one to connect but not the other. Then for some reason they switched which would connect. Weird
