There are several "Bluetooth Keyboard" threads around, but I'm looking for one that will work with the Thunderbolt. I've read that BT Keyboard support and drivers have improved with 2.2, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a keyboard (and has anyone used one with a DInc?).

I've found this one:

Amazon.com: iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard for PDAs and Handhelds: Electronics

but cannot find any Android support about it.

Thanks in advance,

this is more of on the go! but i have told others about it, dont no if they got it or not, supports anything with bluetooth lol. if i had to id get this one, not a business person i wont need a full keyboard.

i have had one experience with it an old friend had it, worked well. i know he had a incredible an would have to type long emails...

Thanks, I have moderately big hands, so I'd prefer one that folds and offers full size keys. I guess my main question is, will the Thunderbolt easily support HID Bluetooth?

now that the phone has been out 5 days and is already rooted, just checkin to see if anyone has connected a bluetooth keyboard to the phone. there are a couple of apps in the marketplace that require root to work with bt keyboard... so i'm waiting for one click to root my phone. will root allow me to use a bt keyboard with my phone? i tried pairing with the xoom bt keyboard at the verizon store, and it said "paired but not connected" leading me to think i need to install a driver for the phone to communicate with the keyboard. any help/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated since i'd love to use this phone to take notes in class. thanks again. -elo

I get the same message. No keyboard will work currently with any rom, rooted or not, because the bluetooth stack is incomplete. Apparently CM7 is supposed to support bluetooth HID so as soon as a build for the TB is released I will let you know. This is truly a big let down. As soon as I receive my extra batteries and HID support this will truly be a perfect device.

Cm7 alpha builds work flawlessly with Motorola xoom bt keyboards typing this with one right now. Not all the command buttons work but afaik all the typing input commands work.

The Mini Bluetooth Keyboard is Android/Windows only. No HID support. It will not work with a Thunderbolt 4g.

i'm still using my motorolla xoom bt keyboard with my TB with the CM7 rom (which is the best rom out imo- great battery life, super fast, and bt keyboard support).
