Got my new One M7,taking a bit of getting used to not like my previous Desire HD that was a cracking phone.anyway transferred everything across with transfer tool it messed up my contacts by renaming some & missing othersdid the same with pics so transferred some via Bluetoothand here's the problem-I can see the image if I go into Bluetooth/transferred images but that's all I can do,it won't let me use or save the image to say gallery or set as wallpaper if I click details it gives me the file path but I cant access it.so I tried pic as an mms and whoopie I'm given the option to save which it tells me it does but doesn't tell where it's saved it to.also anyone know why everything is dealt with by Google as all my contacts are under this-any ideas on how to change this.
Any & all help greatly appreciated on this as I've e-mailed HTC about this & 10 days later I'm still awaiting a reply.
Regards
Jack.

If the contacts are in Google you can export them from gmail and import them somewhere else. They designed android around Google services so everything like that is backed up and accessible to you. HTC use to have a contact tool on their website check that out. The format was probably mapped wrong when it transfered information into the fields. On the files can you access them from a computer and transfer? I mention that to help you trouble shoot.

Thanks for the reply,I'll try HTC site for the contact tool & see what I can do as for the images know u can poss move the images on a pc just seem to defeat the object of having a powerful hand held componly other thing I've a problem with is delivery reports on sms for some reason I've got to set it to ask for a report each time u can't set it & leave it set.
Jack.
