Bluetooth Mouse does not reconnect to Samsung Tab A
I have a Samsung Tab A 9.7, and I bought the Samsung bluetooth mouse to go with it. ET-MP900DBEG It paired up fine the first time, and it worked great. Most of the time, when I turn the mouse off, and turn it on again several hours later, it will reconnect to the tablet no problem. Occasionally, when the mouse has been off for a day or more, it will not reconnect to the tablet, and I have to unpair it, reset the tablet, and pair the mouse again, and it works fine for a while until it gets turned off for a day or more.
The only thing that seems to affect if this occurs or not as far as I can tell is the length of time the mouse is off, with longer periods of the mouse being off increasing the chances of it not reconnecting, but even that seems to be inconsistent.
I spoke with Samsung live chat, and since the tab A doesn't officially support the Samsung mouse, there is nothing they can do. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this intermittent issue, and what the fix is?
