I use Windows Your Phone app to keep me connected to my Moto g7. Until recently, if I left the house, when I returned, the Windows app would ask me if I still wanted to be connected to the phone. I I said yes, it would, immediately, reconnect.

Recently (it seems since Android 10) the app will ask the same question (which implies that it sees the phone) but then it cannot connect to the phone. I have to go to the phone and connect manually. As Windows sees the phone it would seem that it is the phone that has the issue.

Anyone seeing a similar issue?

Often after big updates small bugs can appear and usually they can be cleared one of three ways. In this case however there is a forth thing you can try and I would probably try them in this order.

Resetting your network settings. During updates settings can get changed or may not work the same as before due to a change that came with the update. This link should guide you through that process... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...base-224198/&usg=AOvVaw0Z5_H1DW_a-51tKyuIJVij

Clearing the app cache and data would be next. Should be something like Settings>Applications>wifi is usually a system app so you may have to make those visible WiFi>clear Cache>clear Data.

A bit trickier but shouldn't cause data loss or have any ill effects would be clearing the partition cache for the device. This link should outline that for your device... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...oto-g7-power&usg=AOvVaw04xn_n3zP9J-B1OKr1jSbw

The last is a Factory Reset, which will cause you to loose some data and shouldn't be taken lightly. You will want to backup your device before attempting this. This link should guide you through that process... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...base-224142/&usg=AOvVaw3TURJOjv9A8NGmuZKI7d2l
